Armed Security Guard "Blue Card" Course We are licensed by the Connecticut State Police to instruct the Armed Security Firearms Pistol Permit Class 1 Endorsement Course. This full-day Blue Card course is required to work as an armed security officer in the State of Connecticut under a licensed security company. |  HR-218 and S. 1132 LEOSA RETIRED LAW ENFORCEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR CARRY CARD
We provide the Annual Qualification "Course of Fire" Certification Course w/Card for LEOSA HR 218 and S. 1132 for retired police officers and for other retired law enforcement officers from any state who meet the federal guidelines of this law. We use the Connecticut Municipal Police(P.O.S.T.) course of fire and will use any other state's course of fire for out of state officers. 
Annual Municipal Police Firearms Training This training is provided only to currently certified sworn municipal police officers of Connecticut. This three hour program includes 2 hours of firearms range shooting with qualification and 1 hour of classroom training. Police officers will receive credits with the P.O.S.T. 50 B form for area 51. Call to Schedule. Training is also provided to law enforcement officers requiring correctiv e issues or to enhance their performance at their annual agency qualifications (pistol/shotgun). This four-hour course immerses the student into the Defensive Encounter Pistol and Shotgun mindset and is designed specifically for those carrying a pistol outside the home or maintaining one in the home. Students are taught the fundamentals of incorporating speed, tactics, and accuracy into their shooting. Live fire training included. Mr. Furhman is a Connecticut Police Academy firearm instructor and a certified NRA Law Enforcement Pistol & Shotgun Instructor.
